Philosophy

What are we humans but liars? What are we humans but conformity trapped within a shell of unused intelligence? We are humans. None of us are real. No one ever shows their true colors. How many of you know your friends? Your family? How about your lovers? None of us do. Everyone is trapped inside of an alternate reality -- a reality known as the mind. That is where all of our true opinions, confidence, feelings, free will, and personalities hide. What are we hiding from? We are all hiding from each other. No one wants to be made to look stupid, unintelligent, foolish, "uncool". We care so much about everything that does not matter. Does anyone even realize that our entire race is a joke? We are not a supreme being. Creatures of the planet mock us with their hidden laughter. We all think we are so great, yet we can't even make decisions on our own, or tell our lovers exactly how we feel. We are all just players in a much bigger picture than "living in the now". In truth, our lives are minuscule. A human life is no more valuable than the life of plant cell. Why do we all think we are so important just because we are more intelligent than the beast? Are we all not made of flesh? Are we all not born to die? We all need to get off of our thrones of false luxuries, and realize that money, power, sex, drugs, happiness, sadness, greed in general do not matter. When you die, no one will care in a hundred years. When the human creature goes extinct, the world will continue turning. We will just be a thrown out chapter in the book of existence. Thrown out because we are a failure. We were given everything. We were given intelligence and we are not smart enough to use it. Our days are numbered, yet people still refuse to see the world for what it is. We are simply alive. We are simply here. We are not godly and we are not all-powerful. We have a gift, but we burned it up a long time ago. Now the world simply waits until we kill ourselves off so the canvas can be repainted.
